Are you buying a new home or suspect your septic tank has a problem we can help? It’s a good idea to have the septic tank inspected! During our inspection, your septic tank is pumped and the drain field is monitored for back flow. The pipes are examined to ensure that there is nothing blocking water flow from the house to the tank with our camera's.
Hydro flushing is a great preventative measure for your sewer and pipes. Sewer and pipes can collect debris and buildup over time that can trap material that can eventually cause blockages in the pipes that can lead to to backups and floods. if you regularly maintain your sewer pipes with hydro flushing you can eliminate these costly consequences.
How does hydro flushing work? Its actually fairly simple, the buildup in your pipes is blasted away with high-pressure water jets.
A septic tank consists of a plastic or concrete tank at one end that is connected to an inlet wastewater pipe and the other end is connected to a septic drain field. Generally, the pipe connection is made with a T pipe, allowing liquid to enter and exit. Wastewater enters the first chamber of the tank, allowing solids to settle and scum to float. The settled solids are digested, reducing the amount of solids. The liquid components will flow through the dividing wall into the second chamber, where it will settle. The excess liquid will be relatively clear and it will drain into the septic field.
Waste that is not decomposed by the digestion must be removed from the tank, otherwise the tank will fill up and wastewater containing undecomposed material discharges directly to the drainage field. This may clog the leach field piping, decrease the soil absorbency, and create expensive repairs. Therefore, it is important to have the septic tank emptied. So, the accumulated sludge (fecal sludge) is pumped out of the tank by one of our vacuum trucks.
Spring or fall are the most common season’s as you want hot, active bacteria to thrive during the winter months to prevent freeze ups in your septic system.
Generally you should have your septic tank cleaned out every two years. If you have an older home, or if you have a large family we recommend that you do it yearly. Our team is always available to consult with you on your septic needs as each family and house is unique!
We carry 100 feet on the truck but we have 200 to 300 feet of hose available to get any job done..
